CHOCOLATE CHIP - CREAM CHEESE
BROWNIES
 
1 pkg. butter recipe chocolate cake mix
1 c. water
1/2 c. butter, melted
3 eggs
2 tbsp. flour

FILLING:

1/3 c. sugar
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 c. chopped nuts
1/4 c. sugar
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Cake: Combine ingredients at low speed until moistened; beat 2 minutes at high speed. Pour batter into greased and floured pan.

Filling: In small bowl, beat 1/3 cup sugar, cream cheese, vanilla and egg until fluffy. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Spoon tablespoons of filling evenly over batter. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes. Drizzle with chocolate glaze if desired.
