PECAN SANDIES 
1 c. butter
1/4 c. confectioners' sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. water
2 c. sifted enriched flour
1 c. chopped pecans

Cream butter and confectioners' sugar. Add vanilla and water. Add flour. Mix well and add pecans. Form small rolls, 1 1/2 inches long. Bake on ungreased cookie sheets at 300 degrees for 20 minutes or until delicately browned. While hot, roll in confectioners' sugar.

Makes 3 dozen.
