APPLESAUCE BROWNIES 
1/2 c. oil
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. flour
2 tbsp. cocoa
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 (16 oz.) jar applesauce

Topping:

2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Combine all ingredients. Beat at high speed for 1 minute. Pour into a greased sheet cake pan. Combine all of the topping ingredients and sprinkle over brownie mixture.

Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes. Cut into squares when cool.
