SIMPLE CHOCOLATE CAKE 
3 c. flour
1/2 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt

Put in 9 x 13 inch pan and mix together. Make 3 holes in mixture in pan and add: 2/3 c. salad oil 2 tsp. vinegar

Pour 2 cups water over all and mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

CHOCOLATE FROSTING:

1/2 c. water sugar
1/4 c. milk
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. butter

Bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add: 1 tsp. vanilla

Beat until ready to spread.
