Just made this cake with my 3 year old daughter and it is wonderful!! We put strawberry frosting on it (store bought). It did not get that ugly hump in the center that box cake mixes get when you bake them it baked up perfectly and evenly. I was sure to mix all the dry ingredients before adding the wet I dont know if that had anything to do with it turning out so good or not. I printed it and saved it in my recipe box I will definitely be using this as my go to chocolate cake recipe!! Thank you so much for sharing!!!

I added a 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla and replaced the coffee with hot tea (black). The batter was a little on the liquidy side and the toothpick came out clean after 40 minutes, rather than 30. This was a quick, easy recipe and it came out pretty good. (Thank you).
