PUDDING PRUNE CAKE 
Scant 1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking soda
Scant 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
5/8 c. buttermilk (milk soured with vinegar is alright to use)
7/8 c. chopped prunes
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix together and bake at 350 degrees in 6 x 10 pan.

GLAZE FOR CAKE:

3 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. buttermilk
Good 1/3 c. sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla

Bring butter, buttermilk, and sugar to a boil. Boil 1 1/2 minutes. Add vanilla, pour on warm cake. it will run but just spread back on cake.
