PRUNE SPICE CAKE | |
1 (18 1/2 oz.) pkg. Deluxe spice cake mix 1 (7 3/4 oz.) jar junior prunes with tapioca 4 eggs 1 (3 3/4 oz.) pkg. vanilla instant pudding mix 3/4 c. water 1/2 c. cooking oil 1 tsp. lemon extract BANANA GLAZE: 1/2 med. sized banana 1 tbsp. lemon juice 2 c. powdered sugar Place mixes in mixing bowl. Add other ingredients and mix for 2 minutes. Pour batter into a greased and floured 10x4 inch tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 50-55 minutes. Cool cake in pan for 30 minutes; remove and add Banana Glaze. (Mash banana and add lemon juice. Gradually add powdered sugar, beating between additions.) |
