GREAT GRANDMA'S SOUP 
4 lg. potatoes
4 lg. carrots
1/2 c. peas
1/2 c. corn
1 c. green beans
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
4 tbsp. picante sauce (mild or med.)
Salt
Pepper
Celery salt
1 med. onion
Milk
1 lb. hamburger
Water

Put tomato sauce, 2 quarts water, picante sauce, onion, and seasoning in a large pot. Fry hamburger in a skillet, breaking it up. Drain grease, put hamburger in large pot. Chop potatoes and carrots, put in pot. Add other vegetables to pot. Add more water to cover vegetables. Add extra seasoning to taste. Bring pot to boil. Then set to simmer for 2 hours. Add 2 tablespoons milk when finished cooking. It takes the acid edge off the tomato sauce.
