DIANE'S MANDARIN ORANGE SALAD 
1/4 c. sliced almonds
About 1 qt. mixed leaf lettuce (2 half bunches)
1 c. chopped or thinly sliced celery
2-4 green onions, sliced
1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained

Toast sliced almonds in a little butter in skillet and drain on paper towel.

DRESSING:

1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. salad oil
2 tbsp. white wine vinegar
2 tbsp. snipped parsley
Dash of freshly ground pepper
