ONION RELISH 
3 gallons onions, chopped
4 lbs. sugar
2 lg. jars pimento
1/2 gallon apple vinegar
1/2 c. salt
1 box pickling spice
2 tbsp. celery seed
2 tbsp. mustard seed
2 tbsp. turmeric seed

Put salt on onions. Let stand 30 minutes. Drain. Add other ingredients and heat 30 minutes. Pack in jars and seal.
