PEAR - ONION RELISH 
1 peck pears (1/4 bushel)
5 lg. onions
6 bell peppers (some red)
2 c. sugar
5 c. apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. allspice
1 tbsp. turmeric
3 hot peppers, optional

Grind pears (drain off juice). Grind onions and peppers. Add all other ingredients. Cook about 30 minutes or until thick. Dip up into jars. Seal. Makes about 12 pints.
