NEVER FAIL PIE CRUST 
5 c. flour
2 tsp. salt
2 c. shortening
1 egg
2 tbsp. vinegar
Water to fill cup

Crumble dry ingredients together until quite fine. Put one egg in a cup measure, add the vinegar, then fill the cup with water. Stir together until blended. Add a little at a time to your dry ingredients until well moistened and dough forms a ball. This freezes well also. Make into patties the size you would need for one crust and wrap separately to freeze.
