MILKY WAY® CAKE | |
6 MILKY WAY® candy bars 1 1/2 c. butter, softened and divided 2 c. sugar 2 1/2 c. flour 4 eggs 1 c. buttermilk 1/2 tsp. baking soda 3 tsp. vanilla, divided 2 tsp. milk 1 lb. pkg. confectioners sugar Melt 4 candy bars with 1/2 cup butter in saucepan, stirring constantly. Set aside. Cream sugar and 1/2 cup butter in mixer bowl until fluffy. Beat in flour and eggs. Stir in buttermilk, soda and 2 teaspoons vanilla. Fold in candy mixture. Spoon into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 300°F for 75 to 90 minutes. Remove to wire rack to cool. Melt 2 candy bars and 1/2 cup butter with milk in saucepan, stirring constantly. Beat in 1 teaspoon vanilla and confectioners sugar. Frost cooled cake. Serves 16. |
