FREEZER CABBAGE 
4 c. ground onions
4 med. heads of cabbage
10 green tomatoes
12 green peppers
5 red peppers
1/2 c. salt
6 c. granulated sugar
2 tbsp. mustard seed
1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
4 c. cider vinegar
2 c. water
1 tsp. celery seed

Grind vegetables (use coarse blade of grinder). Sprinkle 1 cup of salt over veggies. Let stand overnight. Rinse and drain in a.m. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over vegetable mixture. Heat to boiling, simmer 5 minutes. Seal in hot sterilized jars.
