SKEWERED STEAK WITH VEGETABLES 
1/2 c. Chablis or other white wine
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. dried thyme
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/2 c. vegetable oil
2 tbsp. chili sauce
1/2 tsp. dried oregano

Combine the above for marinade.

Cut steak into 1-inch cubes. Marinate at least 2 hours in refrigerator. Remove meat from marinade, reserving marinade. Alternate meat and vegetables on skewers, 1/2 inch slices of green peppers, cherry tomatoes, pearl onions, mushrooms, squash. Grill over medium coals 10-15 minutes or until desired doneness, basting with marinade. Serves 4-5.
