NOODLE BURGER CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 tsp. salt 6 oz. wide noodles, uncooked 1 1/2 c. canned corn (drained & save liquid) 1 1/2 c. corn liquid & water 1 onion, diced 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 1/2 c. canned stewed tomatoes, chopped Saute onion in small amount of fat. Remove. Brown beef. Drain off grease. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes until noodles are done, liquid thickened. Stir a couple times during baking. I prefer, bake and serve from a black iron skillet. Good with crisp salad and French bread. |
