HOMEMADE CHILI 
2 lbs. ground chuck
2 c. onions, finely chopped
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 c. tomato juice
1 1/2 c. tomato puree
Salt and pepper to taste
3 tbsp. chili powder
1 (16 oz.) c. kidney beans

Brown ground beef; drain. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Simmer 20 to 30 minutes on low. Garnish with cheese and green onions.
