NUTTY RAISIN BRAN COOKIES 
1 3/4 c. oat bran
1 c. flour
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. raisins
3/4 c. rolled or quick oats
1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. salt (opt.)
1 c. brown sugar, packed
4 egg whites or 4 oz. egg substitute
1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. skim milk

In large bowl stir together oat bran, flour, pecans, raisins, oats, cinnamon, soda, ginger and salt. Set aside. In small mixer bowl, beat brown sugar, eggs and butter. Add milk. Mix well. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls one inch apart onto greased cookie sheets. Flatten slightly. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Yields: 4 1/2 dozen cookies.
