1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder

Mix the first five ingredients, then add flour and baking powder. Chill for 10 minutes, covered.

Bake at 400°F until the edges turn.

Frosting:

1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. Crisco
1/3 c. soft butter
powdered sugar
milk

Mix for frosting.
