BROWN SUGAR DUMPLINGS 
Bring syrup to boil and pour in 9x13 inch pan. Then drop in batter by spoonsful and bake at 350 degrees until done. Serve with whipped cream.

SYRUP:

2 c. brown sugar
2 c. water
1 tbsp. butter

BATTER:

1 c. sugar
1 tsp. butter
3/4 c. milk
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. nuts and raisins
