Bring syrup to boil and pour in 9x13 inch pan. Then drop in batter by spoonsful and bake at 350 degrees until done. Serve with whipped cream.

SYRUP:

2 c. brown sugar
2 c. water
1 tbsp. butter

BATTER:

1 c. sugar
1 tsp. butter
3/4 c. milk
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. nuts and raisins
