RICH DISH 
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. cream
1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder

Mix eggs, cream and vanilla together well in large mixing bowl. Add sugar and mix well. Add flour, salt and baking powder and mix well. Grease and flour 9 x 13 inch cake pan and pour batter into it. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees until light golden brown, and top immediately with High Hat icing.

HIGH HOT ICING FOR RICH DISH:

6 tbsp. shortening, or butter
6 tbsp. golden brown C & H sugar
6 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. angel flake shredded coconut
1 c. chopped pecans

Melt shortening in saucepan over low heat. Add brown sugar, milk and coconut to shortening and stir 1 minute. Remove from heat and add pecans. When cake is done, remove from oven and leave in pan.

Spread icing over warm cake and place under electric broiler about 1 minute, and brown to golden brown. Make sure icing doesn't burn. Serve warm or cold.
