THE BEST, NO FAIL, BLONDE BROWNIES | |
3/4 c. butter, softened 1 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed 2 eggs 2 tbsp. milk 2 tsp. vanilla 2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips Divide chocolate chips into 2 (1 cup) amounts. Grease bottom and sides of a 9 x 13 pan. Cream together butter and brown sugar. Beat in eggs, milk, and vanilla until well blended. Stir in flour, baking powder, soda, and salt. Add 1 cup chocolate chips. Spread batter in pan and sprinkle with remaining chocolate chips. Bake 22-25 minutes until golden brown. DO NOT overbake. Makes 24-36 bars. NOTE: Everywhere I take these bars I am asked for the recipe. |
