STRAWBERRY PIE 
1 qt. whole strawberries (wash, and cut tops off)
1 frozen deep dish pie shell, baked according to pkg. directions
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
4 tbsp. cornstarch
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello

Boil sugar, water, cornstarch until thick. Then add jello and stir well. After pie shell has cooled for 10-20 minutes, arrange berries with the pointed ends up in pie shell. Pour glaze over berries. Bake 3-5 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool and refrigerate. Serve with whipped cream on a hot summer day!
