BLACK BOTTOM TEACAKES 
Topping:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 egg, unbeaten
1/3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. chocolate chips (6 oz.)

Blend and set aside.

Teacakes:

1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. water
1 tbsp. vinegar
1/3 c. oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg

Combine all dry ingredients, then add all liquids. Using mini-cupcake pans, grease and fill each 1/3 full of batter. In middle of each cake, put 1 teaspoon of cream cheese mixture.

Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes.

Makes 4 1/2 dozen.
