CANNED PEACH COBBLER | |
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter 1/2 cup milk 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking powder 1 (29 oz.) can peaches in heavy syrup Melt butter in a casserole dish in oven. Mix together all the dry ingredients then stir in the milk. Stir in about half of the melted butter. Pour into the dish with the rest of the butter. Arrange peaches over this and pour the peach juice over it all. Bake at 325°F until crust rises to top and browns, about 30 minutes. |
