NUTTY PEACH BREAD 
2 (16 oz.) cans peaches, drained, reserving syrup
4 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/3 c. granola
1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
1 1/3 c. sugar
2/3 c. shortening
4 eggs
6 tbsp. orange juice

Puree peaches in blender and add enough syrup to measure 2 cups; set aside. Combine flour, baking powder, soda, and salt; carefully stir in granola and nuts. Cream together sugar and shortening and beat in the eggs. Gradually stir in the orange juice and peach puree. Add flour-nut mixture and blend.

Pour batter into 2 (9 x 5) greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until it tests done in center.
