NO KNEAD SWEET DOUGH | |
2 c. boiling water 1/2 c. sugar 2 tbsp. oil or melted lard 2 cakes yeast 1/4 c. water 1 tbsp. sugar 2 beaten eggs 8 c. flour Combine first 4 ingredients. Let cool. Add yeast and 1/4 cup water, 1 tablespoon sugar. Add beaten eggs and 4 cup flour; blend well. Add 3 to 4 more cups flour. Makes soft dough. Cover, put in ice box overnight. Next morning, shape into balls, let rise until about doubled in size. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. |
