DIVINITY CANDY 
3 c. sugar
3/4 c. white Karo syrup
1/3 c. water
3 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla flavor
2 c. nuts

Mix sugar, water and Karo syrup, bring to boil. Cook until it forms a soft ball in cold water. Pour half over beaten egg white. Cook balance until it forms a hard ball in cold water, then add to egg whites and syrup. When it begins to get stiff, add vanilla and nuts. Stir until ready to take up.
