MUSHROOM AND SAUSAGE PATTIES 
1 slightly beaten egg
2 tbsp. milk
1/2 c. quick cooking oatmeal
1 (2 oz.) can mushrooms, drained and chopped
1 lb. bulk pork sausage

In a mixing bowl, combine egg and milk. Stir in oats and mushrooms. Add sausage and mix well. Shape into 4 patties.

Place patties on cold griddle or skillet. Cook sausage patties over medium heat for 15 to 29 minutes, turning once. Transfer patties to a serving platter. Garnish with mint leaves if desired. Serves 4.
