HUMMUS 
1 can chick peas
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 to 2 cloves garlic
1 tbsp. tahini (crushed sesame) (optional)
Soy sauce or salt to taste (optional)

Combine ingredients in blender or processor until smooth. Chill. Dip pita or other flat bread.
