DOG BISCUITS 
1 c. flour
1 c. wheat flour
1/2 c. wheat germ
1/2 c. powdered milk
1/2 tsp. salt
6 tbsp. chilled bacon fat or butter
1 tsp. brown sugar
1/2 c. water
1 egg

Combine flours, powdered milk, wheat germ and salt in a bowl. Cut in bacon fat until mixture resembles corn meal. Stir sugar with egg, then add to dry ingredients. Add water gradually to make a stiff dough. Knead on floured board until smooth. Fold to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with cookie cutter. Bake on cookie sheet at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.
