ITALIAN PUFF BALLS 
3 eggs, beaten
4 tbsp. sugar
1 lb. ricotta cheese
2 tbsp. brandy or amaretto
1 c. flour, sifted
4 tsp. baking powder
Can of Crisco
Powdered sugar

Combine all ingredients except Crisco and powdered sugar, and mix well. Heat Crisco in a deep pot.

Drop batter by scant teaspoonful into hot Crisco. Fry briefly until golden brown.

Let cool, then sprinkle with powdered sugar. These taste best if served the same day they are made.
