CARAMEL NUT BARS 
Melt over low heat:

1/3 c. evaporated milk
1 (14 oz.) bag caramels

Stir until smooth. Combine and mix well:

1 box chocolate cake mix (with pudding in mix)
1/2 c. butter, melted
1/3 c. evaporated milk

Press half of cake mix in a 9 x 13 inch greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 6 minutes. Sprinkle with:

1 c. nuts, chopped
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi sweet chocolate pieces

Spread caramel mixture over top to edge of pan. Top with spoonfuls of remaining cake mix, press gently into cake, sprinkle with remaining nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes, cool slightly; refrigerate cut into bars.
