3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tbsp. vinegar
2/3 c. salad oil
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. cold water

Sift together flour, sugar, cocoa and soda. Add vinegar, salad oil, vanilla and water and beat until smooth. Pour into greased and floured 9"x12" pan and bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for about 45 to 50 minutes. Test with toothpick before removing from oven. Let cool before frosting.
