CHOCOLATE-PEANUT BUTTER CHEWS 
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. light corn syrup
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate pieces
6 c. puffed rice

Grease a 15 x 10 inch pan. Combine sugar and corn syrup and bring to a full rolling boil. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter until well blended. Pour over cereal, mixing to coat well. Press into prepared pan. Cool completely. Melt chocolate pieces over low heat. Spread evenly over cereal mixture. Refrigerate until set. Store in covered container in refrigerator.
