3 c. mashed figs
3 c. sugar
2 (3 oz.) boxes raspberry jello

Combine all ingredients in pan. Bring to a boil and boil for 7 minutes. Put into sterilized jars and seal. You can use strawberry jello for strawberry fig preserves.
