WHIPPED SHORTBREAD 
1 lb. butter
1/2 c. cornstarch
3 c. flour
1 c. sifted powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter well. Cream in sugar, flour, cornstarch and vanilla. Beat until like whipped cream. Drop by spoonful on very lightly greased cookie sheet. Can be topped with colored sugar sprinkles. Bake at 250 degrees for 10-15 minutes until very lightly browned. Makes about 4 dozen.
