TOLLHOUSE OATMEAL COOKIES 
3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
6 tbsp. brown sugar
6 tbsp. white sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. water
1 c. oatmeal
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Blend shortening, sugars, vanilla and water. Beat in egg. Add dry ingredients. Stir in oatmeal and chips. Drop on sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
