WILLIAMS FAMILY BEEF AND RICE | |
1 lb. hamburger, browned 1 can French onion soup and an extra can of water 1 to 1-½ c. uncooked minute rice seasonings as you wish, but don’t add onion powder Preheat oven to 350-400°F degrees. Brown hamburger and put it in a 1-1/2 quart pan (with tall sides, say 3” tall Pyrex type), add all the other ingredients and stir well with the rice and hamburger. Bake for 10-15 minutes, then stir again, pulling it away from the edges and stir from top to bottom so that it is thoroughly rotated. If the mixture seems a little dry and the rice has not cooked yet, add another 1/2 can of water and continue to cook. There shouldn’t be any extra liquid when it is done. Total cooking time is about 20-30 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to set several minutes before serving. Submitted by: Chris Williams |
