CRUSTY BUTTERMILK CORNBREAD 
1 c. flour
1 c. cornmeal
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
Nonstick cooking spray

1. Combine flour, meal, baking powder and salt. Make well in center of dry mixture, add egg. Stir in the buttermilk and mix.

2. Spray an 8 by 8 by 2 inch pan or muffin tin. Spread evenly in pan.

Makes 9 servings.

3. Bake 25 to 30 minutes 425 degrees oven.
