TARTERIVE PIE 
About 4 1/2 to 5 lbs. fresh pork shoulder

Cook until well done. Cool. Remove all meat from bones saving the fat but discard the skin. Put all this through your food chopper and add about 6 pounds peeled, cooked and mashed potatoes that has been seasoned to your taste.

Onion powder to taste
Allspice and cinnamon to taste, start with 1/2 tsp. each
2 tsp. salt
1 stick butter

Mix well. If too dry add a little of the water the meat was cooked in until the regular consistency for the pie. Bake 40 minutes, 350 degree oven.

Makes 6-8 inch pieces.
