2 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. milk
3 eggs
6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix all ingredients together except chocolate chips. Beat at high speed 3 minutes. Fold in chocolate chips. Grease a loaf pan and line bottom with wax paper. Pour dough into pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes and remove from pan.
