DROP SAND TARTS 
1 c. butter
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. granulated sugar
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, then flour, etc. Drop from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Dip a fork in a beaten egg and press down on the cookies until they are very thin. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove to a rack to cool.
