1 c. butter
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla (WATKINS Double Strength "Imitation Vanilla Extract" is best)
2 c. flour

Combine ingredients. Push through cookie press onto ungreased cookie sheets. Decorate as desired. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove and cool on wire racks.

(I make these for Christmas and decorate with red and green sugar sprinkles, red cinnamon hearts, etc.)
