SWEET POTATO PIE 
2 1/2 lb. sweet potatoes
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. butter, melted
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. white sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
3 eggs, beaten
1/4 c. milk
Unbaked pie shell (9 inch)
Whipped cream

Boil sweet potatoes in jackets until tender. Drain, peel and mash. Measure 4 cups in a bowl. Blend in sugar, butter, nutmeg and cinnamon. Stir in egg in mixture until blended, pour into pie shell. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 minutes or until brown. Garnish with whipped cream.

For topping if desired.
