BASIC BISCUIT DOUGH | |
8 c. self-rising flour, sift to measure 1 1/2 c. solid vegetable shortening 1 to 1 1/4 c. dry powdered milk In large bowl, mix flour and milk. Cut in shortening until mixed well. Mixture will resemble corn meal. Yield: 13 cups. Keeps well, but should be used by 3 months. |
