STUFFED PEPPERS 
8 sweet peppers
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 c. regular rice
2 onions, ground
Garlic or garlic salt
1/2 c. salad oil
1 tbsp. tomato paste or ketchup
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 egg, well beaten
1 sm. can tomato paste
2 cans water (use paste can)

Wash peppers and cut a slice from stem end. Remove seeds and combine above ingredients. Fill peppers. Place in circle in roasting pan open side down. Pare and slice 5 or 6 medium potatoes and place in center of pan. Combine 1 small can tomato paste (seasoned according to taste). Add water and pour over peppers. Bake at 400 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
