MEXICAN CORNBREAD 
1 c. corn meal
2 eggs
1 can cream corn
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
1 lb. ground beef, browned
1 c. milk
1/2 c. bacon drippings
1 med. onion
1/2 tsp. baking soda
5-6 Jalapeno peppers

Mix all ingredients except hamburger. Pour 1/2 of mixture into greased iron skillet. Spread hamburger on top. Spread remainder of mixture over hamburger. Grate additional cheese over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
