BEER BRISKET 
3-4 lb. trimmed brisket
1 can beer
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. chili sauce
1 clove minced garlic
1 lg. sliced onion

Salt and pepper brisket and place in large pan. Slice onion on top of meat. Mix beer, sugar, chili sauce and garlic. Pour over meat. Cover with foil and cook 3 1/2 hours. Uncover and baste. Bake 30 more minutes, basting several more times.

Remove brisket and thicken juice with flour and water for delicious gravy.
