I too had to tweak this recipe due to ingredients on hand, but it is delicious!! Major alterations were that I had no frozen peas (usually do) so I used the frozen spinach I had. I also used cream of onion soup. I sprinkled stuffing mix on top (so little) with a little of the cheese and it was spectacular!! Tons of flavor!!

Great recipe! Family favorite. I have used a box of mac 'n cheese and added crushed potato chips on top. I cook the mac 'n cheese and than add the tuna, cream of chicken, frozen peas and chopped onion, I do not add milk but have substituted chicken broth for the liquid. (lactose intolerant here so avoided the milk). Spread crushed chips on top and bake 350°F for about 30 minutes, quick and easy!

I substituted cream of asparagus and added a can of mixed veges to the casserole, not much milk, about half soup can, used elbow macaroni, live in the Pacific Islands, have to learn to sub a lot here topped with lots of New Zealand cheese and little of Italian, call it two cheese tuna casserole. Better the next day when warmed in Micro... bon epitite or whatever they say in Tahiti

Easy recipe for a bachelor to fix, good hot meal for someone who is tired of eating out. I reduced everything by half to make a smaller casserole for 1 person. Also, I used whole wheat penne pasta since that was what was on hand.

I went with chicken stock and mozzarella cheese instead of chicken soup. Tossed in some frozen mixed vegetables. Topped it off with provolone cheese and bread crumbs. Cooked it covered for 1 hour uncovered for another 20 minutes. Very good, low sodium too!

I don't like tuna, so I used a pound of cooked, boneless, skinless chicken breasts chopped up. Really yummy! I will cook it covered next time since the noodles got a little crispy on the edges.

I used cream of celery instead and boiled the noodles in chicken broth and added onions and celery with a bread crumb topping!
